[0:00] Black screen; at 0:03, white text appears: "Entry #77"
[0:10] Shot of walking towards the back of Tim’s house, from the same way as in Entry #75.
[0:43] Jay reaches the door and pulls his knife out of his pocket. He opens it and tries to open the door, which is locked. He starts knocking on the door instead.
[1:01] Tim: Who is it?
[1:03] Jay: It’s me. Come on, open up.
[1:09] Tim unlocks the door but leaves it shut.
[1:12] Tim: It’s open.
[1:15] Jay pushes open the door and rushes in with the knife held in front of him. Tim is nowhere in sight. Jay looks around from one room to another.
[1:24] Jay: Tim?
[1:26] Jay pushes the door shut and begins looking around again, the knife still held out.
[1:29] Jay: I just wanna talk.
[1:32] Tim comes out from around the corner and grabs Jay, forcing the knife out of his hand.
[1:36] Tim: Drop it! What else do you have?
[1:39] Tim grabs a pile of zip ties out of Jay’s pocket.
[1:41] Tim: Zip ties?
[1:43] Tim pushes Jay away into the living room.
[1:45] Tim: Just wanna talk? What were you gonna do?
[1:47] Tim throws Jay’s knife onto the counter.
[1:48] Tim: Sit down. Sit down!
[1:50] Jay lunges towards the knife but Tim wrestles him to the floor. They struggle for a moment before Tim punches Jay. The camera goes black at 1:58.
[2:00] Video resumes with Tim tying Jay up with the zip ties while Jay struggles to get free.
[2:01] Jay: Get off! Get off!
[2:05] Tim stands up and grabs the camera off the floor. There’s a slight audio distortion as the camera is lifted up.
[2:07] Jay: You’re a liar. You had that tape for how long and you never told me.
[2:10] Tim: It was in my jacket pocket the day we both woke up next to that shack in Rosswood. I’ve had it ever since. And this? This is exactly why I haven’t shown it to you yet.
[2:20] Jay: What are you talking about?
[2:21] Tim: I knew if you saw it now, you’d blame me for Jessica disappearing and that would make finding Alex even harder.
[2:26] Jay: Just tell me where she is.
[2:27] Tim: I don’t know any more than you do. I don’t even remember the parts that were on that tape. You should know that!
[2:35] Jay: I don’t believe you.
[2:37] Jay starts to push himself up into a sitting position and glares up at Tim.
[2:38] Tim: Well, you’re going to have to, okay, because the way I see it there’s two possibilities. One, she is dead, in which case there is nothing we can do.
[2:44] Jay: It wouldn’t be my fault!
[2:45] Tim: Two, she is still alive and if she is, we cannot go anywhere near her, especially not you! You could be followed, or you could show where she is on your camera or something like that and she would get dragged into this all over again.
[2:58] Video and audio distortion.
[3:00] Jay: But if she’s alive out there, she could need our help!
[3:01] Tim: She has to be dead to us regardless, Jay! We need to be focused on finding Alex because he is the one who’s actually responsible for all this. Blaming me isn’t going to do anything!
[3:10] Tim turns and grabs his duffle bag off of his couch.
[3:14] Tim: I looked up that address that was on the back of that picture we found in my attic.
[3:16] Tim turns and grabs the knife off of the counter and pockets it before turning back to Jay.
[3:20] Tim: It’s a nearby college. Probably the one that Alex went to to be with Amy. I’m going there and I am not taking you with me. Not while you’re like this.
[3:27] Brief audio and visual distortion.
[3:28] Jay: Wait, Tim, just leave my camera.
[3:31] Tim: No.
[3:32] Tim starts to head out the door with Jay still tied up and yelling behind him. There is some slight audio distortion as Jay yells.
[3:33] Jay: Leave my camera, I need it! Give it to me! Tim!
[3:36] Tim shuts the door and Jay’s yells get quieter as Tim heads towards his car. He gets in his car and starts backing away from his house before the camera goes black at 4:11.
[4:14] White text on screen: “The way Jay has been acting over the last few months is causing him to be a danger to both me and himself.”
[4:26] White text on screen: “I did what I had to do to keep him from putting us at risk. He needs help, but I don’t know what else I can do.”
[4:37] White text on screen: “I know what I’ve said is the truth, whether he believes me or not.”
[4:44] Screen goes to black.
