[0:00] Black screen; at 0:02, white text appears: "Entry #47"
[0:06] White text on screen: “About an hour after leaving Alex’s apartment.”
[0:13] Shot of Jay in his car with his head against the steering wheel. Alex walks up to the car and knocks loudly on the window. Jay looks over, breathes deeply and gets out of the car, leaving the camera on the dashboard.
[0:42] Jay: What? What is it?
[0:44] Alex shoves Jay towards the back of the car.
[0:45] Alex: What is the matter with you? Breaking into my apartment. What are you thinking?
[0:49] Jay: Alex, calm down. I had a good reason.
[0:51] Alex: And what would that be, huh?
[0:54] Jay: I…I had a, had a hunch.
[0:56] Alex: A hunch?
[0:57] Jay: Yeah.
[0:58] Alex: Oh, a hunch. What did you expect to find, huh? This?
[1:01] Alex holds up the tape Jay tried to take from his apartment in Entry #46.
[1:02] Alex: You thought that some tape, laying on my desk, was going to be the answer to all of your questions?
[1:08] Jay: I don’t know. Maybe.
[1:09] Alex: You don’t even know what’s on this tape, do you?
[1:14] Alex walks away from the car. Jay leans in, grabs the camera and turns the camera off.
[1:29] Cut to Jay walking over to where Alex is leaning against his car.
[1:34] Jay: How’d you get out of your apartment?
[1:36] Alex: You know, Jay, I brought you out here because I thought you could help but you’ve done nothing but make everything worse.
[1:43] Jay: Yeah, really? Well, you know what? You never really gave me a whole lot to go on. I’ve just been wandering around waiting on you to call. It’s not really a good way to speed up the process, is it? I thought I was supposed to come out here to help you find Amy but the way you’ve been acting recently, it’s…I’ve been thinking the exact opposite.
[2:06] Alex comes at Jay while faint audio distortion begins.
[2:07] Alex: You listen to me! Listen right now! It’s a little difficult to try and find someone when there are psychopaths wearing masks tracking you down and people are breaking into your apartment! That did not happen before you came around.
[2:16] Jay: I wanted to help you, Alex, but I’ve spent three months doing almost nothing. That is your fault, not mine.
[2:23] Alex: How am I supposed to trust you to do anything when you’re pulling stunts like this?
[2:28] Jay: And I have still done so much more than you have, Alex.
[2:31] Alex: Oh, you think you’re making such a huge difference?
[2:33] Jay: Yeah, I do.
[2:34] Alex: Well, you can do it by yourself. Because I am done helping you.
[2:39] Alex turns and starts to walk back to his car.
[2:40] Jay: Good. Great. Maybe now I can do something besides waiting on you constantly.
[2:45] Jay turns to head back to his car and then turns back towards Alex.
[2:53] Jay: Give me Jessica’s phone number.
[2:58] Alex: No. I’m done helping you.
[3:02] Jay sighs as Alex turns back to his car.
[3:03] Jay: Oh yeah?
[3:04] Jay runs at Alex and grabs his keys off of his belt loop. Jay runs over to his car, throws Alex’s keys on his seat and locks the door just as Alex reaches Jay’s car.
[3:09] Jay: Sorry. It’s locked. Guess you can’t get your keys. Unless you give me the phone number.
[3:17] Alex glares at Jay and pulls his cell phone out. Most of Jessica’s phone number is bleeped out.
[3:29] Alex:…1102
[3:32] The sound of a phone being dialed can be heard followed by a ring tone.
[3:35] Alex: What are you doing?
[3:39] Jay: Making sure you gave me the right number. I’m not just gonna take that and leave, I’m not that stupid.
[3:50] Jessica voicemail can be heard. “Hey, this is Jessica. I’m not here right now so please leave me a message.”
[3:53] Jay: Alright. Move.
[3:55] Jay opens his car and grabs Alex’s keys off the seat. He throws them on the ground a couple feet away.
[4:04] Jay: There’s your keys.
[4:06] Alex glares at Jay for a couple more seconds and walks over to his keys. He picks them up and heads over to his car without looking back.
[4:12] Jay: Might wanna keep those in your pocket from now on.
[4:20] Jay gets back into his car and starts it. The screen goes to black at 4:39.
[4:42] White text on screen: “Alex never told me how he got out of his apartment.”
[4:49] Cut to Jay sitting in his car during the day. He dials his phone and Jessica answers after a few rings.
[5:08] Jessica: Hello?
[5:10] Jay: Uh, Jessica?
[5:12] Jessica: Yeah. Who’s this?
[5:14] Jay: Um, this, this is Jay. Uh, I’m a friend of Alex Kralie’s.
[5:19] Jessica: Oh. Hi.
[5:21] Jay: Um, listen, I know Alex has probably asked you this, uh, but have you seen Amy recently?
[5:29] Jessica: No, she’s still with him, isn’t she?
[5:32] Jay: Still with him, where?
[5:36] Jessica: He left me a message a few months ago saying he had gotten in touch with her. Where did they go?
[5:41] Jay: He did?
[5:44] Jessica: Is everything okay?
[5:46] Jay: I’ve been around Alex these last few months, looking for her. He told me he had no idea where she was.
[5:55] Jessica: What?
[5:58] Jay: Has he, has he called you back since then?
[6:01] Jessica: No, not since he left me that voicemail. Should I be worried? Where’s Amy?
[6:11] Jay: I’m not sure right now. I don’t know why Alex would be telling different people different stories like that.
[6:18] Jessica: What should I do?
[6:20] Jay: If Alex calls you back, just to be safe, uh, don’t answer him. Um, I’m going to go talk to him soon and get everything straight with him, okay?
[6:32] Jessica: Okay.
[6:34] Jay: And don’t worry too much about it. He may have just misspoke or something. I mean, we’ll find Amy, I mean, if he, if Alex hasn’t found her already. Okay?
[6:47] Jessica: Okay.
[6:49] Jay: I’ll, uh, I’ll call you back when I know something.
[6:53] Jessica: Thanks.
[6:54] Jay: So, yeah, I’ll talk to you later then.
[6:57] Jessica: Alright, bye.
[6:59] Jay: Bye.
[7:04] Jay hangs up the phone and looks out the window for a moment. He turns to the camera and turns it off at 7:13.
[7:15] White text on screen: “So Jessica found out Alex was lying to her about finding Amy. It sounds like I was trying to reassure her on the phone, even though I probably didn’t plan to talk to Alex ever again after the previous night. In hindsight, I never should have called her.”
[7:37] Screen goes to black.
