I'm going through the videos on the external hard drive that I found in the hotel.
After looking through the video files' dates, I found that they begin the same time as the events in Entry #41.
[00:26] Cut to footage of Alex in his car, covering the camera lens with his hand and then removing it, possibly turning the camera on.
[00:28] Alex removes his car keys and then looks around.
[00:38] Alex holds up his phone and dials a number.
[00:50] Alex puts the phone to his ear and hears Jay's voice: "Alex, um, I'm in the woods right now, near where I parked though. If you're uh, if you're here and you're wondering where I am, I'm here."
[01:01] Alex puts his hand to his forehead.
[01:03] Alex throws the phone aside. It is heard hitting the wall.
[01:10] Alex grabs the phone.
[01:12] Alex begins strapping the camera to his chest.
[01:22] Alex steps out of the car and closes the door.
[01:30] Ahead of Alex is a large field between the parking lot and the woods. Not far away is a large tree with someone sitting against it. Farther away is a road leading to some white buildings.
[01:39] Alex turns around and begins walking across the field toward the woods.
[01:52] Black Screen.
[01:53] Cut to footage from Alex's chest cam while he walks along the edge of the woods, he is holding his phone up in front of him. Jay's voice is heard on the phone: "Hey I'm not answering my own phone right now, so, leave me a message."
[01:59] A beep is heard from the phone.
[02:01] Alex: "Jay, I'm outside the woods. I don't know why you decided to go in there, but, get out here. Now."
[02:09] Alex lowers his phone and continues walking.
[02:14] Black Screen.
[02:16] Cut to footage from Alex's chest cam inside the woods.
[02:21] Running footsteps are heard.
[02:23] Alex stumbles as he turns around and pushes off a rock.
[02:24] Alex yells: "Jay, what the hell are you doing out here?"
[02:26] Jay can be seen running through the forest from the right to the left side of the frame. Jay yells: "Hey, we gotta get out of here. Come on!"
[02:28] Alex: "What?" Jay yells back, "Come on!" Jay sounds frantic as he continues to run.
[02:30] Alex: "Jesus Christ." Alex begins to walk faster as he follows Jay.
[02:36] Black Screen.
[02:37] Cut to footage on a well-lit forest path with trees on both sides.
[02:42] Black Screen.
[02:43] Cut to footage outside the forest in a field with several large trees. Jay is sitting on the ground up against one. Alex is walking towards Jay.
[02:52] Alex: "What was that all about? What are you running from?"
[02:56] Alex stops walking close to Jay.
[02:59] Jay: "That thing."
[03:04] Alex: "That thing is in there?"
[03:08] Jay: "A couple of miles in, but yeah."
[03:11] Alex: "What were you doing a couple miles in the woods?"
[03:14] Jay: "I don't know. I was tired of waiting on you because you didn't tell me. What time you were gonna be here."
[03:21] Jay: "Then, you know, I thought I'd take a look around while I was waiting, and I got kinda lost I guess."
[03:29] Alex: "You got lost in woods you've never been in."
[03:31] Jay: "Yes."
[03:34] Alex: "Do you at least have the camera?" Jay then looks at the ground.
[03:40] Jay: "No."
[03:41] Alex: "Is the camera a couple of miles in the woods?"
[03:44] Jay: "Yes. It is because I dropped it."
[03:48] Alex exhales and then says, "Let's go." He turns left and begins walking.
[03:56] Alex turns around and sees Jays still sitting by the tree. Alex: "Come on, let's go." Jay is seen getting up as Alex turns around again.
[04:03] Black Screen.
[04:04] Cut to footage of the two cars at the edge of the parking lot. The camera is moving towards the cars. Alex: "You saw what was on the video I sent you."
[04:06] Jay: "You have no clue where Amy is?"
[04:09] Alex: "No."
[04:10] Jay: "Well, what do you want me to do about it?"
[04:12] Alex: "Help me, Jay! Alright? Look, we have a better chance of finding her together." They stop walking as Jay is between the two cars.
[04:19] Jay: "Yeah, I'll—I'll help you, but today… done."
[04:24] Alex: "Why?"
[04:26] Jay shrugs.
[04:27] Alex: "Fine." He turns around and begins walking toward the driver side of his car.
[04:30] Jay: "Alex, I said I'd help you. I just, I can't today, not after that. I'm just gonna go to a hotel and stay there because I don't want to sleep in my car tonight."
[04:40] Alex looks over at the large tree and then is heard getting out his keys.
[04:42] Alex: "Fine. Just follow me. I know a couple that are close by."
[04:45] Jay: "I don't want any close to here."
[04:49] Alex: "Just come on."
[04:50] Alex opens the car door and sits in his car.
[04:55] Jay: "Alex, wait."
[04:57] Alex: "What?" Alex gets back out of the car and walks over to Jay, who is holding a camera.
[05:02] Jay: "It was in my car."
[05:06] Alex: "What's on it?"
[05:09] After looking at the camera for a few seconds, Jay says: "I don't know; I guess the battery's dead."
[05:13] Alex: "We'll check it when we get to the hotel. Let's go." Alex walks back to his car door.
[05:20] Alex sits down in his car and closes the door.
[05:22] The car is heard starting.
