Jay waits for Alex at Rosswood Park. He walks around in the woods for a bit, & comes upon a strange clearing. While investigating an old overgrown chimney, he encounters The Operator & abandons his camera.

[00:00] Black screen.
[00:01] White text on black screen:

Entry #40

The day after Alex called.

Rosswood Park

[00:16] Footage begins. The camera appears to be sitting in the passenger seat of a car filming the inside of the door. The footage is out of focus.
[00:22] The camera is grabbed and taken out of the car.
[00:26] Jay shuts the car door and points the camera at the forest for a second.
[00:29] The camera is set down on the car pointing towards the parking lot. Jay paces in front of the camera.
[00:36] Jay pulls his phone out of his right pocket.
[00:40] Jay walks closer to the camera as he dials the phone.
[00:43] A phone ring is heard followed by Alex's prerecorded message: "You've reached the voicemail of Alex Kralie. I'm not answering my phone right now. Please leave your name and your number and I'll get back to you as soon as I can."
[00:55] Jay: "Alex. Um. You didn't actually tell me what time you were going to meet me here, so, uh, I'm here. Whenever you decide to come."
[01:18] The camera is picked up. Jay points it to the right, toward the forest.
[01:25] Jay zooms in and then out again on the edge of the forest.
[01:29] The camera is being pointed at the ground. Jay is possibly turning it off.
[01:30] Cut to footage of the ground as Jay is walking. He is on a forest path.
[01:33] The camera is pointed up and looks around.
[01:40] Jay stops for a moment and looks at a small stream.
[01:47] The camera is pointed at the ground again as Jay crosses the stream by stepping on rocks. He then continues to walk in the forest.
[01:59] Cut to different footage. Jay continues to walk through the forest. The path is more narrow and probably further in.
[02:11] The screen flashes black for a moment followed by a cut to different footage in the forest. Soft audio distortion begins.
[02:21] The camera is pointed up at the sky.
[02:28] The distortion gets louder.
[02:32] There is a flash of video distortion followed by a cut to different footage. The audio has returned to normal. Jay now appears to be in some sort of clearing where the ground is covered in sticks/mulch.
[02:33] The camera zooms in on a log for a moment.
[02:40] The camera points back at the forest behind Jay.
[02:42] Jay walks toward the log with the camera pointed at the ground.
[03:00] Cut to different footage. The camera seems to be sitting on the ground pointing up at Jay sitting on the log. His face and shoulders are out of the shot.
[03:02] Jay grabs his phone out of his pocket and puts it up to his face offscreen.
[03:18] Alex's prerecorded message is heard: "You've reached the voicemail of Alex Kralie. I'm not answering my phone right now. Please leave your name and your number and I'll get back to you as soon as I can."
[03:27] Jay: "Alex. Um. I'm in the woods right now. Near where I picked so… If you're uh, If you're here and you're wondering where I am, uh, I'm in here. I'll probably be back out there in about fifteen or twenty minutes cause I'm not quite sure where I am. So, I'll be out there in just a minute."
[03:52] Jay puts his phone back into his pocket.
[03:58] Jay stands up and grabs the camera.
[04:02] Cut to different footage. Jay is standing up looking around and walking around in the clearing.
[04:10] A strange structure comes into view, possibly a chimney left from a collapsed building. It is covered in plants and vines.
[04:11] Jay walks towards the structure and points the camera at the top of it.
[04:17] Jay points the camera to the right and a similar structure is seen.
[04:20] Jay begins walking around the left side of the structure.
[04:33] The camera is pointed at the structure again.
[04:37] The camera looks up to the top of the structure.
[04:38] Screen tearing. Jay examines the hole and points the camera into the hole in the structure.
[04:50] A ringing sound begins.
[04:52] Jay moves the camera to the left of the structure and the Operator is standing about twenty feet ahead of him.
[04:53] Jay falls to the ground and loud audio distortion begins. Jay appears to try to crawl away.
[05:05] Jay points the camera behind him and the Operator is standing only a few feet away. The Operator's head is out of the frame.
[05:07] The camera stops moving as it has been dropped.
[05:08] Jay is seen running away.
[05:12] Video distortion.
[05:14] Video tear followed by more video distortion. The screen becomes black and white and very unclear for the last several seconds.
[05:17] Footage ends.
[05:22] Video ends.

Main Theories and Observations

There's something set up against the tree from 0:35 to 1:16. Based on the Intermission video it may be totheark.

Further Speculation

• The Operator only seems to move when off-camera. This is probably nothing
  • However we have seen him move in TTA videos (Admission and Return) as well as in Entry 4. ~Moooo4me
